What is the Community Grants Scheme?
The Community Grants Scheme from Veolia Environmental Trust is available to those looking to work on projects to improve community facilities and the environment. This extends to the installation of solar panels.
This funding is available to constituted not-for-profit organisations, local authorities and Environmental Bodies (EBs). Grants of between £10,000 and £75,000 are available.
When considering your application, you’ll need to be able to show that it:
- Promotes community action and wellbeing
- It is inclusive and accessible to everyone and anyone to use
- Inspires the creation of a sustainable carbon-neutral community space
- Protects and enhances biodiversity and natural habitats
There are three different grants and criteria, so it’s worth contacting us to see if the funding is available in your area.
